Stripe and Stencil Finishes

One of the simplest ways of creating a very dramatic effect is to use just two colors and create a striped effect. The stripes themselves can be of different thickness, say a darker color in thin strips and a lighter color with thicker stripes. In the dining room, the simple but clever effect can been enhanced with stylish accessories. This is a technique, which looks dramatic once finished. We create custom one of a kind rooms with the huge array of stencils, shapes, and design options. The finishes range from denim with a hand painted nautical border, embossed Venetian plaster damask, to metallic blocks. You can see a free hand painted French stripe with ivy vines, to a horizontal linen stripe bordered by a metallic band. The motifs were created with freehand painting, highlights, and shadows to create a stencil that doesn’t look at all like a stencil. Our Asian Kimono all over pattern can transform a room with an Oriental flair.
