About Us

Jerry Tobin is an accomplished faux and decorative artist which has operated a successful faux finishing business for over 26 years, having experience in all phases of home improvements from decorative painting and paperhanging to repair work. Jerry started out working in the home improvement field with a general contractor learning all phases of carpentry, sheetrock, spackling, general construction and tile. In 1987 he began Wallscapers and added more experience by working with different faux finishers as well as attending Decorative Art Schools and becoming an authorized installer of JaDecor, Granicrete, Proceeds, Ralph Lauren faux products, decorative concrete and TexSton natural lime based Venetian plasters. Jerry enjoys creating new decorative finishes, trompe l’oeil effects, and his specialty, cabinet finishes.
